Yes, I can provide an update on HQ and Regional actions.
Previously, Information Notice 2004-05, was issued in March 2004 to address the spent fuel pool leak at Salem and specifically addressed the groundwater-issue/concern.
We met with NEI and plant representatives on December 15, 2005 to discuss NRC's concerns about the spills and leaks and to ask industry what plans they have to better prevent, control, and monitor these events.[
A follow-up public meeting is being scheduled for March 16, 2006, to hear about industry's progress.
