DISCUSSION 1.1 Servicewater pumps are elctric driven, singe-stage, yertlcal turbine pumps.
12 Service water pumps provide cooing water for the Turbine'Equipment Cooling 4System :(TEG), Reactor: Equipment :Cooling System (REC), Residual Heat Removal System (RHR), and Diesel Generator Cooling Systems (DGJW-and D.GLO) heat exchangers. Thesystem also provides suction for the screen wash and sparger. pumps.
1L3 The four pumps are located in the Intake Structure Service Water Pump Room. The pumps are numbered IA, 1CG. IB, and ID starting from.the north.
