Re: Inside NRC article on Preemption Interesting... it sounds like we may eventually have a policy in the works that would give us that muscle...and would require m.rie effort at consistency on our part.

The December 26, 2005 Inside NRC has an article on new NRC action on preemption. See page 5 of 17.
My read on it is that the Commissioners want us to hold the line on States trying to muscle in on our turf.
