- Randy, The great majority of the licensee's wells have been installed over the past few weeks. I'm not certain of the number, but I believe that it is now in the 40 - 50 ballpark. They have moved quite efficiently in terms of adding new wells, sometimes several in a two-day period. They are fairly shallow Wells of a 15' depth through soil, without significant underground obstructions. The licensee has plans to install a few deeper wells to better characterize the aquifer over the next week or so.
Thank you, Steve

thanks...Iooks like they have 20+ temporary wells. over what period of time have they been putting them in? how deep are they? are they all in soil or do some go thru rock?
Indian Point has only a few wells and has taken months to install a few more, but theirs go down thru rock to a deep depth and involve drilling near buried lines, so they have been careful but painfully slow.
