Indiana Michigan Power Company (I&M), the licensee for Donald C. Cook Nuclear Plant Unit 1 and Unit 2, appreciates the opportunity to comment on the proposed Regulatory Information Summary endorsing NEI White Paper, 'Enhancements to Emergency Preparedness Programs for Hostile Actions," as noticed in Reference 1.

I&M endorses the comments made by NEI on behalf of the industry in a letter dated May 5, 2006 (Reference 2). I&M concurs with NEI's position that endorsement of the White Paper provides the industry and the NRC with a consistent approach for implementing enhancements to existing Emergency Preparedness Programs based on post September 11, 2001, experience.
