VIRGIL C. SUMMER NUCLEAR STATION, UNIT NO. 1, CORRECTION LETTER FOR ISSUANCE OF AMENDMENT REGARDING ELIMINATION OF MONTHLY OPERATING REPORTS AND CERTAIN ANNUAL REPORTS (TAC NO. MC9155)

Dear Mr. Archie:

By previous correspondence to you, the Nuclear Regulatory Commission issued Amendment No. 175 to Renewed Facility Operating License No. NPF-12 for the Virgil C. Summer Nuclear Station, Unit No. 1. The amendment changed the Technical Specifications in response to your application dated November 29, 2005. The amendment was issued from our offices on May 19, 2006. The amendment page and the safety evaluation reflect the correct date of May 19, 2006. However, the cover letter was incorrectly dated May 4, 2006.

Please feel free to modify your records to reflect the correct issuance date of May 19, 2004. I apologize for any inconvenience this may have caused for you.
