Dresden Inspection Activities (Jan 1 - Dec 31, 2005)

Dual unit outages for non-safety service water leak repairs Unit 2 refueling outage Cracks found in gusset area of steam dryers on both units

- Dresden announced plans to replace the steam dryers 3B recirculation pump seal replaced twice HPCI/CST line leakage in early 2006 - tritium in on-site sample wells

Dresden Annual Assessment Summary January 1 - December 31, 2005 z Exelon operated Dresden in a manner that preserved public health and safety z All cornerstone objectives were met z NRC plans baseline inspections at Dresden for the remainder of the assessment period and IP 71004, Extended Power Uprate (EPU), for activities related to the steam dryer replacement.
