KEWAUNEE POWER STATION RADIOACTIVE EFFLUENT RELEASE REPORT JANUARY - DECEMBER 2005 Enclosed is a copy of the Kewaunee Power Station Radioactive Effluent Release Report for January through December 2005. This report is submitted to meet the requirements of Technical Specification 6.9.b.2 and 10 CFR 50.36a(a)(2).
During preparation of this report, two items were identified that require correction from previous reports. The first item identified was a computer program used to calculate gaseous releases that did not include the volume purged at the end of the release.
Updated data will be supplied with the 2006 Annual Radioactive Effluent Release Report. The second item involves the over reporting of beta emitting isotopes in the 2003 liquid effluent section of the Annual Radioactive Effluent Release Report. The corrected information is included in this submittal.
The first item requiring correction resulted in an insignificant increase in the reported dose to the public. The second item requiring correction resulted in a decrease in the reported dose to the public.
