FORT CALHOUN STATION, UNIT 1 - REVIEW OF 10 CFR 50.54(p) CHANGE TO SECURITY PLANS (MD1213)
Dear Mr. Ridenoure:
By submittals dated August 31, September 30, and December 13, 2005, Omaha Public Power District submitted updates to the security plans (physical security, training and qualification, and safeguards contingency plans) for the Fort Calhoun Station, Unit 1. The Nuclear Regulatory Commission (NRC) staff has reviewed these changes and finds them acceptable in meeting the provisions of Title 10 of the Code of Federal Regulations (10 CFR) Section 50.54(p). Enclosed is the staff's Safeguards Evaluation.
In accordance with 10 CFR 2.390, "Public inspections, exemptions, requests for withholding," a copy of this letter without the enclosure will be available electronically for public inspection in the NRC's Public Document Room or from the Publicly Available Records (PARS) component of NRCs Agencywide Documents Access and Management System (ADAMS). ADAMS is accessible from the NRC Web site at http://www.nrc.gov/reading-rm/adams.html (the Public Electronic Reading Room). The enclosure to this letter is exempt from public disclosure under 10 CFR 2.390(d)(1).
The Enclosure to this letter contains Security-Related Information.
