Re: Exelon news release on Braidwood tritium I talked to Anne Boland and we both agree that we should update the preliminary notification, but not until next week when we have the results of our sampling of the drinking water well with measureable tritiurn.
(The residents originally declined our offer to sample the well, but changed their mind and we have collected a sample and are awaiting the results from Oak Ridge.) We can then summarize the on-site and off-site monitoring results, our split-sample results, and the drinking water well results.
I have sent the licensee's news release to EDO (Pete Habighorst), OCA, and OPA so the Headquarters players should be aware of the issues covered in the release.
