Gindian Point Energy Center Daily Status Report December 15, 2005 Operational Status Indian Point Unit 2 is operating at 100% and has been online 376days.
Indian Point Unit 3 is operating at 100% reactor power and has been on-line for 72 days.
Indian Point Spent Fuel Pool Investigation Entergy is drilling wells in nine new locations on site as part of the on-going investigation of a leak in the IP2 spent fuel pool. Sample results for tritium from two new wells located in the IP2 transformer yard have been obtained. There is a third well new well in the transformer yard (MW-33) that has been sampled but results are not yet available. These wells are located nearby MW-i 11, which showed tritium levels around 211,000 pCiL.
An updated map showing the locations of the transformer yard wells is attached.

The NRC announced it will continue its special inspection regarding the spent fuel pool leak until the first phase oF the investigation is completed. The public exit meeting will be held following the end of the special inspection.
