Unit 2 pool wall update 10/3/05 update.
- Collected 2000 mL per 24 hours2.777778e-4 days <br />0.00667 hours <br />3.968254e-5 weeks <br />9.132e-6 months <br /> last three days. Concentrations were consistent with previous readings.
- Samples from the 3 wells located within the Unit 2 PA taken 9/29 should return from off-site lab by Thursday.
- Instructed D. Quinn to request proposal from Mass Testing Corp. for a mass balance calculation for water loss from pool from all possible means.
- Excavation along the south wall continuing. FYI the ballast box foundation will be poured on the southwest side of the loading bay (opposite side from where the cracks are) tomorrow.
- Proposal received today from Underwater Construction Corp. for camera inspection of accessible SFP liner weld seams, proposal is broken into options and is under review.
- Draft white paper received from GZA regarding site hydrology and environmental monitoring recommendations, white paper under review.
- NRC hydrology specialist is expected to visit IPEC next week. We will be preparing for his visit.
