April 13, 2006 Mr. Gene F. St. Pierre, Site Vice President c/o James M. Peschel Seabrook Station PO Box 300 Seabrook, NH 03874

SUBJECT:

SEABROOK STATION, UNIT NO. 1 - CORRECTION OF AMENDMENT NO. 107, REMOVAL OF REQUIREMENT TO PERFORM END-OF-LIFE MODERATOR TEMPERATURE COEFFICIENT MEASUREMENT (TAC NO. MC6566)

Dear Mr. St. Pierre:

On February 17, 2006, the Nuclear Regulatory Commission staff issued the subject amendment in response to your application transmitted by letter dated March 28, 2005. The amendment revised the Seabrook Station, Unit No. 1 (Seabrook) Technical Specifications (TSs). Specifically, the amendment revised Seabrook TS Surveillance Requirement 4.1.1.3, Moderator Temperature Coefficient, to allow the option of not measuring the moderator temperature coefficient within 7 effective full-power days of reaching an equilibrium boron concentration of 300 parts per million, provided the conditions described in WCAP-13749-P-A have been met.

Subsequent to the issuance, your staff identified some errors in the amended TS pages. These errors resulted from the issuance of other amendments during the review of Amendment No. 107 to Facility Operating License Number NPF-86 which affected some of the same TS pages. It should be noted that some pages were correct as originally issued; however, for convenience and clarity, a complete set is being provided with this letter. We apologize if these errors have caused you any inconvenience.

Sincerely,

/RA/
