Dear Administrative Judges:
Pursuant to the Order issued in this docket on February 2, 2006, the parties were to submit written proposals regarding suggested specific locations for the limited appearance statement session and the evidentiary hearing, as well as a calendar, covering July - October 2006 inclusive showing those dates where they are not available due to prior significant commitments.
This letter provides that information from the State of Vermont.
The Department of Public Service ("Department") suggests the following locations for the limited appearance statement session:
Quality Inn 1380 Putney Road Brattleboro, VT 802-254-8701 The Latchis Theater 50 Main Street Brattleboro, VT 802-254-6300 The Quality Inn can accommodate 150-200 people. The Latchis Theater can accommodate 750 people.
As to the evidentiary hearing, the Department suggests the use of the Quality Inn but not the Latchis Theater because of the physical space restrictions of the Theater in terms of an actual evidentiary hearing.
The Order of 2/2/06 also asked for times when a party is not available for hearings due to prior significant commitments. The Department's legal team or its witnesses presently would not be available, due to other significant commitments, at the following times:
July 13 - August 3 August 14 - August 18 September 4 - September 8 September 22 October 2 October 9 - October 13 Thank you for your consideration of the Department's scheduling restrictions. We look forward to the prehearing conference call on March 10, 2006.
