- MEETING CATEGORY 1 - NRC ANNUAL ASSESSMENT - SEQUOYAH NUCLEAR PLANT, DOCKET NOS.
50-327 AND 50-328
Dear Mr. Singer:
This letter confirms the conversation between Mr. Jim Smith of your staff and Mr. Scott Freeman of this office on March 15, 2005, concerning a Category 1 public meeting scheduled for April 5, 2006, at 2:00 p.m. The purpose of the meeting is to discuss the NRC Reactor Oversight Process Annual Assessment of your Sequoyah facility. During the meeting, we recognize that you may have information which you want to present to us or any members of the public in attendance. Accordingly, after our presentation you will be afforded an opportunity to respond to any information contained in the Annual Assessment Letter and to discuss any new or existing programs that are designed to maintain or improve your current performance or to address any performance issues that occurred during the 2005 assessment period.
In accordance with 10 CFR 2.390 of the NRCs Rules of Practice, a copy of this letter will be made available electronically for public inspection in the NRC Public Document Room or from the Publicly Available Records (PARS) component of NRC's document system (ADAMS). ADAMS is accessible from the NRC Web site at http://www.nrc.gov/reading-rm/adams.html (Public Electronic Reading Room).
