Dear Chairman Karlin and Judges Rubenstein and Baratta:

In response to the Board's February 2, 2006 Order (Scheduling Prehearing Conference Call) Applicants Entergy Nuclear Vermont Yankee, LLC and Entergy Nuclear Operations, Inc. state as follows:

1. Based on the experience with last year's ACRS meeting, the Quality Inn in Brattleboro, VT would be an acceptable location for hearings held in Brattleboro. Applicants have no preference as to other hearing locations.

2. Applicants join in the calendar included in the enclosure to the Staff's letter to the Board dated March 7, 2006, with the following two additions: Applicants are not available on September 18, 19, 20, 21 and 22, and are not available on October 23, 24, 25, 26, 27, 30 and 31.
