CMR. Merrifield Periodic Notes-Predecisional/internal Only Had a short VTC with the Commissioner yesterday afternoon. He had specific topics of interest: Hope Creek failed weld recovery and restart decision process; Dr. Kim Harvin 01 Rpt. findings and stakeholder reaction; Status of N.H. Agreement State Program; 2.206 petition re backup power for sirens and FEMAs role in resolution ( I punted to NRR after giving him my view of issues at Indian Point ). I reviewed recent and planned Commissioner visit schedules in Region I and the upcoming public meeting/Gov. to Gov.
meeting schedule. He was interested in our intention to support VT PSB request for staff support for a meeting re Power Uprate and Engineering Insp., I indicated that we intended to support the meeting and a response letter was due this week. Sam CC:
