DRP Daily Note On April 5, 2005, Region I issued the results of an investigation into alleged discrimination of an individual who has been vocal on work environment issues at Salem and Hope Creek nuclear power facilities and the results of an investigation into an alleged willful violation by an Operations Manager at the Salem nuclear power facility. The company has been informed of the results.
The NRC concluded that there is insufficient evidence to prove that an adverse personnel action was taken in violation of the employee protection regulations. The NRC also concluded there is insufficient evidence to prove that the violation at the Salem facility was willful.
