Dear Sir or Madam:

By this letter Entergy withdraws Pilgrim 10 CFR 50.55a (g)(4)(iv)l Request No. PIL-05-R-03 which was submitted for NRC approval by Reference 1.

Pilgrim Request PIL-05-R-03 is made unnecessary by the NRC's irsuance of Regulatory Guide 1.147, Rev. 14, which includes conditional acceptance of ASME Cdde Case N-49B-4, encompassing the scope of the Pilgrim Request. Accordingly, the ISI Request is not needed for the fourth ISI interval.

This letter does not contain any commitments.
