I discussed the following proposed wording of the final paragraph on page 3 of the letter with Bill Borchardt.
We will continue to monitor PSEG performance and maintain heightened oversight of your efforts to improve the work environment. We willperiodically reviewyourperformance metrics, including additional metrics related to equipment reliability, corrective action, and human performance beyond those you committed to provide in your June25 letter. We will continue to review the methodology and results of third party surveys and assessments conducted for PSEG. In addition, NRC managers will continue to conduct site visits at an increased frequency. We will evaluate the level of oversight necessary to effectively monitor your performance on a semi-annual basis as part of the Reactor Oversight Process Mid-Cycle and End of Cycle Assessments. Our heightened oversight will end when we hasve concluded that PSEG has made substantial, sustainable progress in improving the work environment.
Per Mr. Borchardt, with this wording incorporated, NRR concurs on the letter.
