RIVER BEND STATION, UNIT 1 - CORRECTION TO RIVER BEND STATION AMENDMENT NO. 150 (TAC NO. MC6328)
Dear Mr. Hinnenkamp:
The Nuclear Regulatory Commission (NRC) issued License Amendment No. 150 to Facility Operating License No. NPF-47 for the River Bend Station, Unit 1 (RBS), on February 9, 2006.
The amendment consisted of changes to the Technical Specifications (TSs) in response to your application dated March 8, 2005, as supplemented by letter dated January 17, 2006.
The amendment allowed a one-time TS change for RBS. The change extended the test interval for the next Appendix J, Type A test an additional four months beyond the 5-year extension already granted by the staff to the nominal 10-year interval.
Due to an administrative oversight, the following typographical errors occurred inadvertently while dispatching the amendment package:
The amendment number 150" was not inserted on the second page of the license.
The date at the bottom of the second page of the license should be February 9, 2006.
The amended TS Page 5.0-16 should show the amendment number 150" in the bottom right corner of the page.
The date at the bottom of page 6 of the safety evaluation should be February 9, 2006.
The corrected pages are enclosed. Please replace the pages in the approved amendment transmittal, dated February 9, 2006, with the corrected pages.
The staff's Safety Evaluation and conclusions contained in the approved amendment transmittal dated February 9, 2006, are not affected by these corrections.
