Salem / Hope Creek Allegation Effort As of January 22, Region I has expended considerable efforts thus far on the review of the Salem / Hope Creek allegations, including the following:

Alleger Interactions

• In-depth day-long interview of alleger plus two followup interviews and two transcript reviews

• Multiple contacts with alleger to discuss allegation status and arrange for transcript reviews NRC Followup Actions

• 39 interviews of current & former FPSEG workers and managers

• 4 followup interviews of PSEG personnel

• Over 4500 pages of transcriptions from interviews, existing or in progress

• 4 person-months of 01 investigator effort to perform interviews

• 3 person-months of technical effort to perform interviews

• 1 person-month of technical review of existing transcriptions ,2

• Weeks of effort to review alleger-provided tapes and documents4A-

• Other law enforcement agency efforts to enhance alleger-provided tapes

• 5 allegation review board meetings to evaluate allegations and progress

• Multiple communications to headquarters to update allegation review progress
