Phone Call from Tom Madden
-SENSITIVE ALLEGATION MATERIAL-fyi I just spoke with Tom Madden of Congressional Affairs. He called because Senator Lobiando's office called him seeking information regarding the the current PSEG SCWE allegation. Tom referred to it as the Salem Whistleblower allegation.
The Senator's office primarily called to ascertain whether this was a credible allegation or more reflective of someone who was seeking another employment contract.
I basically explained that the Alleger has provided a vast amount of paperwork that needed to be carefully reviewed by us in order to summarize her concerns and we are currently almost complete with that. In addition, we are treating this allegation very seriously with NRC Senior Managment involvement.
I mentioned that the Alleger has been to the office for a 5 hour5.787037e-5 days <br />0.00139 hours <br />8.267196e-6 weeks <br />1.9025e-6 months <br /> interview and that we have already initiated actions to investigate stated concerns.
I offered for him to call us back as our process continues and we would update him, as the allegation process is not public.
We may get a letter from the Senators office - just a heads up.
