50-328 SEQUOYAH NUCLEAR PLANT (SQN) - WITHDRAWAL OF REQUEST FOR RELIEF ISPT-01 FOR INSERVICE PRESSURE TEST PROGRAM

TVA letter to NRC dated January 9, 2006, Sequoyah Nuclear Plant (SQN) - Inservice Test Pressure (ISPT) Program Update and Associated Relief Requests for Third Ten-Year Interval In the reference letter noted above, TVA provided a request for relief (ISPT-01) that proposed alternative requirements for bolted connections that have identified leakage.
Following TVA review of the NRC approved American Society of Mechanical Engineers,Section XI Code Case N-566-2, Corrective Action for Leakage Identified at Bolted Connections, TVA has decided to withdraw the subject relief request ISPT-01. No further NRC action or review is needed for TVAs reference letter.
