Thanks for the call this morning. I checked with the workers and can pass along the following information:
- 1) Meeting timing: The group of workers wanting to talk to the NRC dropped since last week due to increased fear about reprisals from the company. There is concern that the company's :SCWE efforts will chill even more workers. A meeting time as soon as possible is desired.
- 2) Meeting transcription: The workers are concerned about the company getting its hands on the transcripts (FOIA) and retaliating. Consistent with their desire to hold the meeting in Woodstown rather than closer to the plant where their identities might be inadvertently disclosed, they do not want the meeting to be transcribed.

Call w/ Lochbaum on worker meeting Following today's call from the alleger on the need for a prompt meeting with site workers, I spoke with Dave Lochbaum. He stated that he and the alleger differ on the need for a prompt meeting (he had said that Randy could meet with them the next time he was onsite) and that he will contact her to readdress this topic. We discussed our need to have immediate safety concerns now, but he stated that he did not know of any and believed the information related to general understanding of site workers' issues and frustrations.
Following further discussion we agreed that the meeting basics would include a discussion in the vicinity of the site in the evening with Randy, Scott or me, 01 (possible but not necessary), himself (possible but not necessary), and the workers. He plans to call the workers' contact to discuss whether transcription would be involved, his involvement, and the schedule (meeting to occur within weeks not days) and will let us know by phone or email.
