Salem/HCreek SCWE allegations As we have discussed, we are handling the SCWE issues through frequent, well structured allegation panel reviews as investigtions/interviews unfold, supplemented by periodic senior manager reviews.
Also, we have set up a project function to assure that all of the things we are doing at A.l., are well connected and integrated....not piecemealed.
We are asking at each step if we should be stepping into a different process/approach (i.e., e.g., special SCWE inspection, order, CAL, etc.)
To date there has not been a basis to depart from the approach we are on --- the very comprehensive/thorough 01/staff effort ongoing.
However, I would ask that you, at least, consider whether issuance of a "chilling effect" letter might be appropriate/needed in light of the lawsuit which contains specific allegations.... I'm not saying we should do it. I would like at least the senior group to assess this and discuss with me.
Thanks. Hub CC:
