Dear Administrative Judges:

On February 16, 2006, the NRC Staff (Staff) filed the NRC Staffs Twelfth Status Report On Its Review Schedule. Therein, the Staff indicated, inter alia, that it expects to issue its evaluation of public comments received on its proposed No Significant Hazards Consideration determination, along with its Final Safety Evaluation, on or about February 24, 2006.

It now appears that the projected issuance date should be revised. The final SE has been completed and is under management review at this time. Inasmuch as the SE addresses numerous subjects and is over 300 pages in length, it is expected that the review will be completed by about March 2, 2006.

The Staff will provide further information concerning its review schedule to the Licensing Board and parties in the near future.
