Dear Sir or Madam:

By this letter Entergy is submitting, Revision 1 of the Pilgrim Nuclear Power Station (PNPS)

Physical Security Plant (PSP). This revision includes implementation of the guidance in Security Frequently Asked Questions 04-09 and 05-03. These changes do not decrease the effectiveness of the plan. A summary description of each change is enclosed (Attachment 1) in accordance with 10 CFR 50.54(p).

In accordance with 10 CFR 50.4(b)(4), the revised pages of the PSP are enclosed with this letter. In addition, a CD-ROM containing an electronic copy of the PSP with the changes incorporated is included with this letter.

The Attachments and Enclosure to this letter contain Safeguards Information as defined in 10 CFR 73.21 (e). Entergy therefore requests the Attachments and Enclosure be withheld from public disclosure.

There are no new commitments contained in this letter.
