RULEMAKINGS AND ADJUDICATIONS STAFF Rebecca, I just wanted to send you a quick note to let you know that the new rules that the NRC want to impose will be a detriment to me and my family.
We presently work 7 10 hour1.157407e-4 days
0.00278 hours
1.653439e-5 weeks
3.805e-6 months
shifts when things get busy around here.
Working only 10 hours1.157407e-4 days
0.00278 hours
1.653439e-5 weeks
3.805e-6 months
a day allows me time to see my young children at the end of the day for a couple of hours. Forcing me to go to a 6 12 hour1.388889e-4 days
0.00333 hours
1.984127e-5 weeks
4.566e-6 months
day schedule will mean that my kids will be in bed by the time that I get home.
I am not looking forward to seeing the kids only on Sundays.;
Another thing that should be considered is when we are on the backshift, working 7 10 hour1.157407e-4 days
0.00278 hours
1.653439e-5 weeks
3.805e-6 months
days is easier on the body than working 6 12 hour1.388889e-4 days
0.00333 hours
1.984127e-5 weeks
4.566e-6 months
shifts and trying to stay up all night on the 7 th day so my body does not get out of wack. Sorry I am not more eloquent in my choice of words, I do not write many letters.
