The Cleveland Plain-Dealer is working on an article about the Order issued to Andrew Siemaszko, the system engineering at Davis-Besse who was in charge of the reactor vessel head cleaning and inspection In 2000. The questions asked by the reporter include why enforcement action was not taken against other individuals, how Siemaszko could have rnidled utility management when there is evidence others knew that the head was not fully cleaned, and what role of the statute of limitations played in the Siemaszko action. He was told that we cannot discuss the details of the case because there is a hearing request pending from Siemaszko and because of the ongoing Department of Justice proceeding. The reporter said he planned to write a story whether or not we were able to respond to his questions. No publication date was given.
