Possession-Only License No. DPR-45 Letter of Intent. Package Application Submittal Attached is DPC letter dated November 23, 2005, notifying NRC of Dairyland's plan to submit an application for approval of its pressure vessel packaging. A copy of this letter was previously sent via email directly to Jill S. Caverly of the Spent Fuel Project Office, Office of Nuclear Material Safety and Safeguards.
This original Letter of Intent is now being transmitted to allow for normal processing by NRC Document Control Desk.

Letter of Intent, Package Application Submittal
Dear Ms. Caverly:
Dairyland Power Cooperative (DPC) is planning to submit an application to your department for the approval of its La Crosse Boiling Water Reactor (LACBWR)
Pressure Vessel packaging, as a one-time shipment from Genoa, Wisconsin to Barnwell Disposal Site in South Carolina.
DPC has contracted Duratek, Inc. to prepare the LACBWR packaging application Safety Analysis Report (SAR), and have it delivered to the NRC offices (your attention) no later than December 19, 2005. DPC requests that the NRC completes its review of this SAR and issue Its Safety Evaluation Report by April 17,2006.
