(b) ISFSI Docket No. 72-31 YAEC Response to NRC Access Authorization Order for ]SFSI Plants On August 18, 2004(l) the NRC Staff issued an Order modifying Yankee Nuclear Power Station's (YNPS) current license to require compliance with the specified additional security measures (ASMs).

In accordance with the Order, Yankee Atomic Electric Company will comiply with the additional security measures except to the extent that a more stringent requirement is set forth in the YNPS Security Plan. Implementation of the ASMs wvill be completed within 180 days from the date of the Order with the exception of the ASM B.4, w hich will be implemented no later than 356 days from the date ofthe Order.
