- Rosetta, The licensee is currently working on a study regarding the content/makeup of the fuel pin segments in an effort to estimate approximate curie content and surface radiation readings. Additionally, a specialist in Region I, James Noggle, is performing a simlar estimate. As far as I'm aware, we do not have the results of these estimates yet.

FYI - Paul Lohaus has talked to both Gary Robertson, WA Dept of Health and Henry Porter, SC Dept of Health and Environmental Control (also the SC Govs State Liaison w/NRC) about the VY fuel pin issue.
Bob Bores, NRC RI SLO is notifying other neighboring States of NH, MA, CT, NY, ME.
WA is interested in knowing what the activity level is of the missing segments?
