Docket Nos.

50-259 50-327 50-260 50-328 50-296 50-390 TVA - DECOMMISSIONING FUNDING STATUS REPORT - BROWNS FERRY (BFN), SEQUOYAH (SON),

AND WATTS BAR (WBN) NUCLEAR PLANTS Pursuant to the requirements of 10 CFR 50.75(f)(1), TVA is required to report to the NRC on a calendar year basis (beginning March 31, 1999, and at least every two years thereafter), the status of decommissioning funding for TVA reactors. On March 30, 2005, TVA reported its decommissioning funding status in a letter from John C. Fornicola. On October 31, 2005, NRC staff verbally requested decommissioning trust funding levels be listed for each licensed reactor. As agreed in those conversations, TVA is resubmitting the decommissioning funding data showing the funding for each licensed reactor (see new table in Item 2 below which replaces, in its entirety, Item 2 of TVA's March 30, 2005, submittal). The conclusion reached, as stated in the March 30 submittal regarding the sufficiency of funding, remains unchanged, i.e., no contributions or other method of funding assurance are necessary.

No other changes are intended or made from our March 30, 2005, submittal.

2. The amount accumulated in the TVA Decommissioning Fund at the end of calendar year 2004 for items included in 10 CFR 50.75 (b) and (c).
