FYI CRACKS FOUND IN VY DRYER FYI Some preliminary info re: VY dryer cracks....

Entergy is considering a press release that covers the fact that, with GE, it identified 4 cracks in the dryer during visual inspections conducted this outage. Entergy says that the 4 cracks are in low-stress, low-steam flow, areas of the dryer, and not in the areas affected at the EPU plants.

Two of the cracks, located in weld areas, were ground-out and repaired; the other two are not accessible.

We're continuing to monitor this situation...we had an ISI inspection this week that looked at this issue as part of our planned inpection activities connected with NRR's EPU review.

More to come when info is available.
