Thank you for sending over the information relating to Haddam Neck. Would you also please have sorneone at the NRC take a look at the following issues raised by one of Mr. Bishop's constituents? Our constituent has inquired as to the status of improvements to the items listed below. Long Island has a significant interest in the plant's security as a large portion of the Island is within the emergency planning zone. I understand that there are security concerns when specifics are released, therefore, we would be satisfied with the NRC's assurance that necessary measures are being taken to address vulnerabilities at the plant.
Closed Cooling System Waterborne Intake Barrier Radiation Monitoring We would appreciate a response in writing. If you have any questions, please do not hesitate to contact me.
