KEWAUNEE NUCLEAR POWER PLANT - REQUEST FOR CHANGES TO EMERGENCY ACTION LEVELS (TAC NO. MC5005)
Dear Mr. Gaffney:
By letters dated October 26, 2004 (ML051440256), and June 3, 2005 (ML051650269), the Nuclear Management Company, LLC (NMC) requested approval of changes associated with the Kewaunee Nuclear Power Plant for Emergency Action Levels (EALs). In July 2005, Dominion Energy Kewaunee Inc. (DEK), became the licensee for the Kewaunee Nuclear Power Plant. As a result of this change, by letter dated September 20, 2005, DEK responded to requests for additional information from the U.S. Nuclear Regulatory Commission (NRC) staff and resubmitted the entire EAL package to include the name and acronyms changes associated with changing the licensee. The intent of the September 20, 2005, submittal, was to supersede October 26, 2004, and June 3, 2005 submittals. Therefore, the NRC considers the October 26, 2004, and June 3, 2005, requests for approval of EAL changes to be superseded by the DEK September 20, 2005, submittal. Therefore, action under TAC No. MC5055 is complete.
