KEWAUNEE POWER STATION - PROJECT MANAGER ASSIGNMENT
Dear Mr. Gaffney:
The Office of Nuclear Reactor Regulation (NRR) has been reorganized to support anticipated new-reactor licensing, risk-informed regulation, and generally improve the effectiveness and efficiency of NRR's programs and processes. The new organization became effective on October 31, 2005.
The previous five large divisions in NRR have been expanded to nine smaller divisions. Each division is overseen by a division director and one or two deputy directors. The Division of Licensing Project Management has now been designated as the Division of Operating Reactor Licensing (DORL) and focuses primarily on licensing activities. Generic and programmatic issues are now managed by the Division of Policy and Rulemaking. In the new DORL, the first-line supervisors, Section Chiefs, have been redesignated as Branch Chiefs.
In the new DORL, Mr. David H. Jaffe has been assigned as the Licensing Project Manager for your facility. Mr. Jaffe can be contacted at (301) 415-1439 or via email at DHJ@NRC.gov. I am the assigned Branch Chief for your facility and can be contacted at (301) 41501389 or via email at LXR1@nrc.gov.
