- Neil, Beatty, Nevada had an operational waste disposal facility in the past. As far as I know Millstone never sent waste to that facility, or at least no shipments that could have contained the fuel were sent there. For Vermont, it is possible that some waste during the period in question was shipped to Beatty - it is part of the VY investigation process.

- Rick, I notice that Jay Thayer told VSNAP that missing fuel pieces are probably at Barnwell, Hanford or a now-closed federal facility in Beatty, Nev. Do you know anything about this Nevada facility in case we get questions regarding it? Why would the fuel have gone there? I never heard this facility mentioned during the search for the missing Millstone rods.
