The purpose of this letter is to provide TVA's reply to NRC's Request for Additional Information (RAI) dated August 19, 2005, concerning Section B.5.b of the "Order" for Interim Compensatory Measures issued in February 2002.

On September 8, 2005, a secure telephone conference call was conducted with the NRC staff to discuss RAIs.

As a result of the call and the letter, TVA is providing written responses to each of the questions contained in the RAI.

The Enclosure to this letter contains TVA's responses to each RAI question.
