NOTICE OF MEETING WITH ENTERGY OPERATIONS INC. AND WESTINGHOUSE ON WATERFORD STEAM ELECTRIC STATION, UNIT 3 STEAM GENERATOR BATWING ISSUES DATE AND TIME:
November 3, 2005 8:00 a.m. - 12:00 p.m.

NRC Headquarters One White Flint North 11555 Rockville Pike Rockville, MD 20852, Room OWFN-9B4 PURPOSE:
A presentation that starts at the discovery of the problem of the broken batwings, extent of condition, root cause, and repairs and corrective actions (both short term, during the outage, and long term), and discussion on why there is reasonable assurance that the weld holding the broken batwings to the wrapper bar will not fail.
CATEGORY 1:
The public is invited to observe this meeting and will have one or more opportunities to communicate with the NRC after the business portion but before the meeting is adjourned. Certain portions of this meeting will be closed to the public because the staff has determined that the information is proprietary in nature.
