RETIREMENT OF DETROIT EDISON'S NUCLEAR GENERATION VICE-PRESIDENT
Subject:
Detroit Edisons Nuclear Generation Vice President Bill OConnor announced today that he intends to retire at the end of this year. No successor has been named, but in theinterim, his duties will be assumed by Doug Gipson, Chief Nuclear Officer (CNO). Mr.OConnor said that by making his announcement now, he can use the next 2 1/2 months toensure a smooth transition.
