Dear Sir or Madam:
On August 26, 2005, Entergy conducted a secure teleconference with NRC concerning Pilgrim's responses to NRC request for additional information (RAI), and the enhancements that have been implemented at the Pilgrim site related to Order Section B.5.b (References 1 and 2).
During that call, NRC requested that Entergy provide written responses to these RAts. The attachment provides these responses to the RAls clarifying our original submittal dated May 26, 2005 (Reference 3). A PGP encrypted copy of these responses has also been provided via e-mail. to this letter contains the responses to each RAI question.
This letter contains no new commitments.
NOTE: THE ATTACHMENT TO THIS LETTER CONTAINS SAFEGUARDS INFORMATIONW AND MUST BE PROTECTED ACCORDINGLY. UPON REMOVAL OF THIS ENCLOSURE, THIS LETTER AND THE ATTACHMENT IS 'DECONTROLLED."
