Webb Docket Nos.: 50-280/281 11555 Rockville Pike License Nos.: DPR-32/37 Rockville, Maryland 20852 VIRGINIA ELECTRIC AND POWER COMPANY SURRY POWER STATION UNITS 1 AND 2 RESPONSE TO REQUEST OF ADDITIONAL INFORMATION FEBRUARY 25,2002, ORDER SECTION B.5.b On February 25, 2005 the NRC issued NRC Staff Guidance for Use in Achieving Satisfactory Compliance with February 25, 2002, Order Section B.5.b, which requested licensees to provide a detailed response describing site-specific plans for addressing various considerations in the guidance and an implementation schedule by May 31, 2005. Implementation was to be complete by August 31, 2005. Virginia Electric and Power Company (Dominion) responded for Surry Power Station in a May 25, 2005 letter (Serial No.05-118).

Based on the NRC's review of Dominion's May 25, 2005 submittal, the NRC informally requested additional information. Attached is Dominion's response to those questions. Commitments associated with the NRC's February 25, 2005 guidance were documented in Attachment 1 to Dominion's May 25, 2005 letter. The attached responses contain amplifying information only and, as such, no new commitments are made in this submittal. Some of these answers were also discussed in a conference call with the NRC on September 7, 2005.
