DRPnews Special Inspection at Vermont Yankee Missing Spent Fuel egments Records indicate that the two fuel pin seg or storage in 1980 following a failed fuel disassembly and reconstitution effort. Instead of performing a piece count" of the fuel pin segments in the bucket, Entergy personnel ensured the bucket remained upright and in place at the bottom of SFP.
