Media calls re: VY allegation FYI, I've received calls from both theutland Heraltoday regarding an allegation supposedly submitted to us by the New England Coalition regarding Vermont Yankee. Both reporters said the allegation has to do with excessive overtime by workers at VY during the current refueling/maintenance outage. As usual, I said we generally do not comment on allegations. However, I did provide them with background information on the NRC's approach to the fatigue issue, including the current rulemaking on the subject Please let me know if this is another case of a "public" alleger and if I should be saying something different on this.
