I haven't heard whether VT sent in the ALC, however, I understand there was an article in the Brattoboro paper today based on comments of Kerry Sleeper, VT Commissioner of Public Safety, discussing the ALC and what it is and What it is not (not certifying the adequacy of the plan).

- Trish, Greetings. I received a call from a reporter at the Brattleboro (Vt.) Reformer asking about the emergency plan for Vermont Yankee. He said Jan. 31 was the deadline for the state to certify the plan and he wanted to know if the NRC has heard whether that occurred. I told him that question would be best put to FEMA and gave him the contact information. However, I also said I would at least check whether we had heard anything. Have we?
