- Carolyn, The engineering inspection team is still narrowing down the list of risk-significant components it will scrutinize at Vermont Yankee. Once that work is completed, it will subject those components to a more detailed review. In the meantime, even as that narrowing process is taking place, the team has been conducting reviews of various systems from which those components will be selected. In other words, the team has been very busy.
Generically speaking, the risk-significant components will come from the following systems: emergency core cooling systems, the containment system, power conversion systems and auxiliary systems. As soon as I can provide more detailed information to you on this, I'll do so.
