During a recent internal review of the Davis-Besse Nuclear Power Station Radioactive Effluents Program, an omission of information was noted in the 2004 Combined Annual Radiological Environmental Operating Report and Radiological Effluent Release Report, dated April 28, 2005, which was submitted to the Nuclear Regulatory Commission (NRC) under letter Serial Number 3149. Specifically, Table 19 on page 98, which lists the lower limit of detection (LLD) for radioactive gamma-emitting nuclides in Continuous and Batch Mode gaseous releases, was missing the LLD for Iodine 131 (I-13 1). Additionally, the LLD for Argon 41 (Ar-41) contained a typographical error. These errors were not significant in nature.

Mr. Jack Rutkowski, Davis-Besse Nuclear Power Station NRC Resident Inspector, was notified of the omission of information via telephone on August 31, 2005. Mr. Rutkowski was informed that a written letter and the corrected page 98 would be submitted to your office within 30 days.

The corrections are identified by revision bars in the right hand margin.
