comments: The above news release mentioned that the NRC was putting a team together to evaluate the VY licensing and design basis for power uprate.
I am a consulting engineer with very relevant experience. I was a key member of the design basis reconstitution effort at Monticello (VY sister plant). I authored and verified many Design Basis Documents.
In addition, I was instrumental in the power uprate at Monticello. I authored many of the task reports and served as the primary contact with the ACRS. I also co-authored the safety evaluation for the entire project.
I am currently the project manager for an power uprate feasibility study with GE. I am looking into all the design issues for power uprate at this time.
I would like to be considered for the inspection team as a contractor. Can you please tell the appropriate person that I can send me resume to for this effort.
